There are several ways to perform this body procedure. Many cosmetic surgeons will tend to focus on one or two methods. - Brazilian Butt Lift. With a BBL, you can use fat from your own body to augment and re-shape your butt. Using liposuction, Dr. Miller will remove fat from an area where there is extra, such as the abdomen, back, or thighs. Then the fat is purified by spinning it around in a centrifuge to separate the fluid and impurities from the fatty tissue. Next, Dr. Miller injects the fat into precise locations of the buttocks to not only augment the size but also improve the overall shape.
- Sculptra Butt Lift. Some people don’t have enough extra fat to use for BBL, or are not yet interested in a surgical procedure. For those candidates, butt augmentation with the filler Sculptra may be an option. This completely non-surgical process involves Dr. Miller injecting Sculptra into precise locations in the butt cheeks in order to add volume and shape. The filler is made of poly-L-lactic acid, which, over the course of a few months, will prompt your body to naturally produce more collagen in the butt cheeks. Once the collagen has formed, you will see the results, which typically last two to three years before more injections are needed to maintain the effect.
